We aim to contribute to Brussels becoming one of the most vibrant cities for socially engaging and politically engaged art. A city where artists are recognized not only as cultural producers but as community builders, educators and catalysts for social change. A city where marginalized voices are not invited as exceptions but become essential participants in shaping culture. By building a community city where collaboration replaces competition.

The contemporary art world continues to reproduce many of the structural inequalities that exist throughout society.

Who receives funding, who is represented by major galleries, whose work enters museum collections, and whose careers are celebrated is still shaped by long-standing systems of privilege and exclusion.

Representation should therefore be more than a symbolic gesture or a matter of diversity statistics. It should shape the structures that determine artistic careers from access to studios and professional networks to exhibition opportunities, commissions, funding, and leadership within cultural institutions. A truly representative art ecosystem is one in which artists from different backgrounds have equitable opportunities to create, collaborate, and thrive.

Our collective seeks to contribute to that vision by building an inclusive platform where diversity is not treated as an exception, but as a source of creative strength. We believe that when artists with different identities, experiences, and disciplines work together, they produce richer conversations, more innovative work, and a cultural landscape that better reflects the society we all share.

We believe that stronger artistic communities create stronger artists. Throughout history, some of the most influential artistic movements emerged from collectives, shared studios, and communities where artists inspired, challenged, and learned from one another.
